THE BRIEF:
Vodacom needed to announce their decision to give online users 60% more data at the fastest speed available,
to as many people as possible in the online space.
INSIGHT:
One of the most frustrating things about slow broadband or limited data is watching a video desperately trying to load.. It ruins our online experience.
THE SOLUTION:
We used the online video platform to demonstrate this frustration in a real situation. A nervous couple on their very first date, moving in for the kiss. The situation becomes even more awkawrd when the video preloader keeps rudely interrupting them. Annoyed by this the guy frustratingly flicks the video controller, ultimately saving the date and creating a better internet experience for all.
THE RESULTS:
A humorous take on a very annoying scenario we can all relate to... slow bandwidth
